the&nbsp;<strong>IMPACT project team<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>Babe\u0219-Bolyai University<\/strong>&nbsp;participated in the&nbsp;<strong>29th International Conference on Raman Spectroscopy (ICORS 2026)<\/strong>, held in&nbsp;<strong>Istanbul, T\u00fcrkiye<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are proud to have had&nbsp;<strong>five team members, together with Prof. Simona Cint\u0103 Pinzaru<\/strong>, represented at this international scientific event through an invited presentation, two oral presentations, and poster contributions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udfa4&nbsp;<strong>Prof. Simona C\u00eent\u0103 P\u00eenzaru<\/strong>&nbsp;was invited to give a presentation entitled:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cAquatic Aged Micro- Nano Plastic Reference Materials as Resonance Raman-SERRS Traceable Probe for Controlled Exposure and Impact Studies\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She also presented a poster during the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udf99\ufe0f&nbsp;<strong>Two oral presentations<\/strong>&nbsp;were delivered by members of the IMPACT team:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Iuliana-Cornelia Sandu-Popl\u0103cean<\/strong><br><em>\u201cPigment Diversity and Unusual Blue Biogenic Shell in the Invasive Population of Rapana venosa Sea Snail Revealed by Multi-Laser Raman, SERS, FT-IR, XRD, and SEM-EDX Analysis\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ion Nesterovschi<\/strong><br><em>\u201cRaman Characterization of Blue Microplastic Ingestion and Carotenoid Responses in Zooplankton\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>Three additional poster contributions<\/strong>&nbsp;were presented by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ioana C\u00e2rdan<\/strong><br><em>\u201cNanostructured SERS Substrates Engineered via Colloidal Lithography for Environmental Nanoplastics Detection\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Anamaria Cou\u021bi<\/strong><br><em>\u201cSERS-Based Assessment of Salinity in Hypersaline Solutions Supported by Dynamic Light Scattering\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Karlo Ma\u0161kari\u0107<\/strong><br><em>\u201cSilver Nanoparticles-Environmentally Aged Blue Polypropylene Composite: Detection and Tracking of Micro- and Nano-Sized Plastic Particles by SERS\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participation in&nbsp;<strong>ICORS 2026<\/strong>&nbsp;provided a valuable opportunity for our team to present our latest research, exchange ideas with researchers from around the world, and strengthen connections within the international Raman spectroscopy community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc4f&nbsp;<strong>Congratulations&nbsp;to all
